Welcome to Monday’s edition of the Daily Fantasy Rundown with “dinkpiece”, “leonem” and “TheNumbersGuy”. Each day throughout the NBA season our daily NBA scouting reports will highlight the best top, value and cheap plays of the day based on the Daily Fantasy Industry’s pricing for salary cap games. Our goal is to bring analysis that will help you build rosters that put you in position to win consistently over the long term.

Point Guard – Our featured site for the point guard position is DraftKings
Russell Westbrook (OKC) – A couple of large blowouts over Westbrook’s last three games have kept his minutes down (28 and 27 in two of those contests) and consequently his DraftKings production (32.25 and 30.75 points in those games). This is one of many we reasons we advise against game log watching without context when picking your teams. The truth is, Westbrook is actually favorably priced at $10,400 on DraftKings, where his value threshold (49.6 points) is well below his per game average (53.1). The matchup isn’t great. The Clippers rank sixth in defensive efficiency against point guards, and Westbrook has failed to meet value in this matchup in both meetings this calendar year (end of last season). Ultimately, the built in profit in the price tag and a full allotment of expected minutes (two point road favorites) makes Westbrook one of the studs you should be considering for cash games.
