Deshaun Watson (Clemson vs Oklahoma) – Watson is our top overall quarterback of the slate and with good reason. If you haven’t seen him play lately then you’ve missed out on some of the best quarterback play of the season. We like him best on DraftKings, and on that site he has generated 44-plus Fantasy points in three of his last four games. He’s completing a healthy 69.5% of passes for 270 yards and 3.2 touchdowns per game on the season. Against Oklahoma, his matchup won’t be all that great, but his ability to run the football lately is the ultimate equalizer. Watson’s knee injury last season resulted in him not being explosive on the ground early on. Recently though, he has averaged 5.61 yards per carry (99 attempts and eight touchdowns) over his last six games. For FanDuel’s big tournament, we think he’s an elite tournament quarterback (high price, likely low ownership). On DraftKings, he’s the upper-tier quarterback we’re paying up for, but we see ourselves paying up at the running back position due to lack of cheap options.
