Daily Fantasy Rundown – February 27 NBA DFS Picks and Analysis
Welcome to Saturday’s edition of the Daily Fantasy Rundown with “dinkpiece”, “leonem” and “TheNumbersGuy”. Each day throughout the NBA season our daily NBA scouting reports will highlight the best top, value and cheap plays of the day based on the Daily Fantasy Industry’s pricing for salary cap games. Our goal is to bring analysis that will help you build rosters that put you in position to win consistently over the long term.
*Any time a player’s salary is reference as a discount or premium, it is relative to the average cost of a roster spot.

Point Guard – Our featured site for the point guard position is FanDuel
Russell Westbrook (OKC)/Stephen Curry (GS) – The Golden State-Oklahoma City is the featured game on this evening’s slate and the one that will capture all of Daily Fantasy players’ attention. As we’ve noted over the last few weeks, the pricing on the highest end of players is still light relative to our value thresholds, making them strong individual values. The discussion then often centers around roster construction and the opportunity cost at different positions. Point guard is always deep so often we’ll emphasize secondary values as opposed to paying up at point guard. This is not the case this evening. We recommend having exposure to one of these two point guards. Both saw a bump in minutes in the first game (Russ – 37, Steph – 38) and the pace bump that they provide each other is significant. Curry has the stronger matchup of the two as Oklahoma City ranks 23rd in defensive efficiency against point guards and Golden State ranks 14th, but we project Westbrook slightly ahead of Curry’s output this evening. There isn’t a wrong choice among the two players.
