Welcome to Friday’s edition of the Daily Fantasy Rundown with “dinkpiece”, “leonem” and “TheNumbersGuy”. Each day throughout the NBA season our daily NBA scouting reports will highlight the best top, value and cheap plays of the day based on the Daily Fantasy Industry’s pricing for salary cap games. Our goal is to bring analysis that will help you build rosters that put you in position to win consistently over the long term.

Point Guard – Our featured site for the point guard position is DraftKings
John Wall (WAS) – Wall has been on an extended run of heavy minutes and heavy usage since Bradley Beal‘s injury. He averaged 37.7 minutes and 18.6 field goal attempts per game in December, posting a 29.8 percent usage rate for the month. The bump in opportunity and minutes is largely priced in around the industry, but Wall’s floor has been spectacular. The matchup with Orlando isn’t ideal. They rank ninth in defensive efficiency against point guards and they play at the ninth slowest pace in the league as well. With a lack of top options on this slate, Wall isn’t difficult to fit into cash game lineups. It’s more difficult on DraftKings than FanDuel, but we think he’s worthy of cash game consideration on all sites. He projects as our top scorer overall on this slate.
