Point Guard – Our featured site for the point guard position is DraftKings
Stephen Curry (GS)/Russell Westbrook (OKC) – Curry and Westbrook are in action and thus project at the top of the point guard position. We have Curry slightly ahead of Westbrook in our projections. He’s facing a slightly softer matchup, as the Bulls rank 19th in defensive efficiency against point guards while Charlotte ranks 12th, and Westbrook is on a back-to-back in a game with some mild blowout risk. The margins are small here which pushes us towards price point as the determining factor between the two. Westbrook’s price tag is friendlier on FanDuel and Curry’s is softer on DraftKings. Both project to approach their value thresholds and are solid plays in all formats, but the depth at the point guard position is immense which makes them harder to justify in cash games as you find yourself wanting to spend at other positions. The depth at point guard should suppress ownership on the whole for both players, making them intriguing tournament targets.
