Daily Fantasy Rundown – January 29 NBA DFS Picks and Analysis
Welcome to Friday’s edition of the Daily Fantasy Rundown with “dinkpiece”, “leonem” and “TheNumbersGuy”. Each day throughout the NBA season our daily NBA scouting reports will highlight the best top, value and cheap plays of the day based on the Daily Fantasy Industry’s pricing for salary cap games. Our goal is to bring analysis that will help you build rosters that put you in position to win consistently over the long term.

Point Guard – Our featured site for the point guard position is DraftKings
Russell Westbrook (OKC) – Without Curry on the slate, we have a very clear cut top point guard option in Russell Westbrook and Friday is a good night to make room on your roster for him. The Thunder will be without Cameron Payne and while they have a capable third point guard in D.J. Augustin this may result in an extra minute or two for Westbrook. More importantly, Westbrook is facing a putrid Rockets defense that ranks 25th in overall defensive efficiency and plays at the eighth fastest pace in the league. The Rockets-Thunder game has a massive 221.5 total and the Thunder have a healthy 114.5 implied team total. Our value threshold for Russ around the industry is hovering around 50 Fantasy points. On the season, Westbrook is averaging just under 53 DraftKings points per game. We strongly recommend rostering one of the big three stars in this game in cash games and Westbrook looks like our primary target as he projects as our highest overall scorer this evening.
