Point Guard – Our featured site for the point guard position is FanDuel
Stephen Curry (GSW) – Curry is questionable to play this evening. He sustained an ankle injury against OKC this past Saturday, but he returned to the game and finished quite well, as he hit one of the most memorable game winning shots you’ll ever see. We don’t think the injury is serious in nature, but keep in mind that Curry missed practice on Monday, and he’s been susceptible to more serious ankle injuries before. Given that the Warriors are at home and they have another marquee matchup vs. OKC this Thursday, we see this as a good spot for Curry to receive some rest. However, if Curry is able to play, he’s the top projected scorer in this slate, and by a safe margin (Damian Lillard is the next projected scorer, but purely from a projection standpoint, he lags behind Curry by more than five Fantasy points). We’d consider him in all formats if he’s able to give it a go, but keep in mind that the point guard position already carries a nice point per dollar value (D’Angelo Russell) and another one could emerge (Elfrid Payton) if an injury tilts his way, so the opportunity cost at the position could be high despite this being a six game slate.
