Welcome to Friday’s edition of the Daily Fantasy Rundown with “dinkpiece”, “leonem” and “TheNumbersGuy”. Each day throughout the NBA season our daily NBA scouting reports will highlight the best top, value and cheap plays of the day based on the Daily Fantasy Industry’s pricing for salary cap games. Our goal is to bring analysis that will help you build rosters that put you in position to win consistently over the long term.

Point Guard – Our featured site for the point guard position is FanDuel
Top Plays:
Stephen Curry (GS)/Russell Westbrook (OKC) – The two top point guards are in play and worthy of cash game consideration this evening as they rank in our top tier of overall plays along with Kevin Durant. The Warriors and the Thunder are meaningful favorites (12.5 points) bringing in some blowout risk but both players are such significant portions of their offense that the floors are usually stable even in blowouts. The Warriors and Thunder hold the two highest implied totals on the slate (just shy of 120) and there are enough values to make exposure to one of the top point guards a viable spend. We prefer Curry’s price discount over Westbrook’s floor ever so slightly. The two project similarly as the matchups (Portland 12th against defensive efficiency and Minnesota 18th are comparable) are in the same ballpark. Typically, we prefer Westbrook’s floor but the price gap between the two levels the playing field this evening.
