Point Guard – Our featured site for the point guard position is FanDuel
John Wall (WSH) – Stephen Curry and Russell Westbrook are off tonight, and Wall draws a road matchup vs. the Sixers. Wall played 39 minutes in a blowout win last night but that’s about the only thing that could hurt his efficiency tonight. Philadelphia is a poor defensive team (ranked 23rd in defensive efficiency vs. PGs, 26th in overall team defensive efficiency) and they play at a high pace (ranked sixth in pace), so this is represents a favorable matchup for Wall. The value threshold on Wall is in the low to mid 40s around the industry, and we’re giving him a bump in efficiency due to the friendly matchup. 35 minutes should be enough for Wall to meet value tonight, and he’s averaging around 36 minutes this season. At $9,400 on FanDuel at a position that’s weak from a point per dollar perspective, we’re looking at Wall as a cash game building block.
