Point Guard – Our featured site for the point guard position is DraftKings
Russell Westbrook (OKC) – Westbrook is the second highest projected scorer in DFS this evening (trails James Harden by a couple of Fantasy points), and his matchup just got better. The Clippers have nothing to play for during the remainder of the regular season, and they’ve ruled Chris Paul, J.J. Redick and DeAndre Jordan out tonight after playing last night. Westbrook won’t have to deal with Paul (arguably the best defensive point guard in the league; Clippers are ranked fifth in defensive efficiency vs. PGs), and he’ll likely see a lot of Austin Rivers (an obvious improvement for him on offense). This game will likely be a blowout and we love James Harden tonight, but fitting multiple high priced studs won’t be an issue in this slate (punts are available at multiple positions) and both OKC studs are projected to score over 50 Fantasy points tonight. Westbrook is in play across all formats, but we’re more likely to choose one of Westbrook or Durant in cash, not both (good strategy in tournaments but the blowout could limit their playing time).
