March Madness CBB DFS Sunday Picks
Welcome to Sunday’s edition of DCoop328’s CBB Daily Plays. This article will break down the best plays at each price range (based on DraftKings pricing). This will be followed by price-adjusted cash game rankings showing the best 50/50 and head to head plays for today’s slate.
High Priced Studs ($7000+)
Aaron White (Iowa, Forward) – I actually believe #7 Iowa will upset #2 Gonzaga today. For that to happen White and Uthoff are going to have to have HUGE games. Luckily Aaron White has been putting up huge numbers of recent, averaging 37 Fantasy points over his last five games. White has put up 20 points and 6 rebounds in seven straight games making him a lock for 30 fantasy points. White is a great cash game play with huge upside.
Jarrod Uthoff (Iowa, Forward) – “Mr. Consistency” has scored over 20 Fantasy points in his last 10 games. Jarrod is set up for a huge game, just as his teammate White is. Uthoff is a great three-point shooter and defensive rebounder. Iowa has a team total of 67 and Uthoff and White combine for 50 percent of their team’s scoring. Try to fit both of the Iowa’s studs into your lineup if possible.
Mid Priced Plays ($6000-$7000)
Sam Dekker (Wisconsin, Forward) – Dekker is priced less than his teammate Nigel Hayes after coming off of a tough performance against Michigan St. Dekker is a much better player and Fantasy player than Hayes. Dekker is underpriced at $6800. Dekker has a nice upside for GPPs.
TaShawn Thomas (Oklahoma, Forward) – Lets keep the TaShawn Thomas train rolling. He has been huge down the stretch and again gets a matchup against an extremely undersized Dayton front line. Thomas should easily be able to muscle up the Flyers forwards to the tune of a double-double. Thomas is a safe bet for 25-35 Fantasy points.
Low Priced Values ($3000-$6000)
Tekele Cotton (Wichita State, Guard) – With all of the expensive forwards in great matchups the key will be to find the correct cheap guards. Tekele Cotton makes a great cheap option as Wichita’s third scorer. He also gets a nice matchup against the 61st fastest team in the nation, Kansas.
Scoochie Smith (Dayton, Guard) – When you get a $5200 player that plays 40 minutes per game, he is probably going to be a great value. He is Dayton’s third scorer and a nice rebounder. He should hit value as a punt option.
Dillon Brooks (Oregon, Forward) – The talented freshman has recently received consistent minutes after joining the starting lineup after the New Year. He has become one of Oregon’s top scorers and is still underpriced. Brooks has averaged 23 DraftKings points per game over his last four games. He gets to play in a high scoring game with an over/under of 140.
