Daily Fantasy Rundown – October 31 NBA DFS Picks and Analysis
Welcome to Saturday’s edition of the Daily Fantasy Rundown with “dinkpiece”, “leonem” and “TheNumbersGuy”. Each day throughout the NBA season our daily NBA scouting reports will highlight the best top, value and cheap plays of the day based on the Daily Fantasy Industry’s pricing for salary cap games. Our goal is to bring analysis that will help you build rosters that put you in position to win consistently over the long term.
Point Guard – Our featured site for the point guard position is DraftKings
Stephen Curry (GS)/John Wall (WAS)/Damian Lillard (POR) – All three of these point guards project very closely in our projection system. Curry has the highest upside and the challenge with evaluating Curry is essentially evaluating his minutes. The Warriors are just 4.5 point favorites on the road and if Vegas is accurate and we get a competitive game deep into the fourth quarter, we expect Curry will score the most Fantasy points this evening. He’s priced accordingly around the industry. Wall and Lillard project just a couple points below Curry, but generally are cheaper around the industry. We believe Wall has the best combination of price point, upside, and floor. The Knicks finished last season 28th in defensive efficiency against point guards. Robin Lopez adds more rim protection than they had last season but Calderon is a turnstile. It’s very early in the season but Michael Carter-Williams and Jeff Teague each had above average performances against the Knicks and we expect Calderon to really struggle with the new up-tempo Wizards offense. Wall is our favored combination of safety, upside, and price. Curry is our favorite target for upside and is a fine upgrade if you have additional funds. Lillard is more of a pure price play. On sites he’s priced meaningfully below Wall and Curry, he’s a fine cash game target.
