Week 14 NFL DFS: Shady’s Back
Welcome to the 14th weekly edition of the Daily Fantasy Rundown with “leonem” and “dinkpiece”. Each week throughout the NFL season our weekly NFL analysis will highlight the best top, value and cheap plays of the week based on the Daily Fantasy Industry’s pricing for salary cap games. Our analysis will help you consistently build winning rosters over the long run.
Ronnie Hillman (DEN) – Hillman was a full participant in practice yesterday and is listed as probable. Meanwhile, CJ Anderson missed practice for the third straight day and is looking unlikely to play. Even if he suits up at this point, we’re not expecting much of a role for Anderson. With a more stable and larger workload, Hillman becomes a nice complementary value play at RB across the industry. We still slightly prefer Shaun Draughn and Frank Gore at comparable price points.
Ben Roethlisberger (PIT) – We undervalued Roethlisberger a bit in our initial run of the content. We’re moving him into our top five ranked quarterbacks and Andy Dalton out. This game has shootout potential, and Roethlisberger has been extremely efficient (leads all quarterbacks with 8.9 yard per attempt), which isn’t surprising given two very skilled receivers in Antonio Brown and Martavis Bryant. Throw in that top cornerback Adam Jones is likely out for the Bengals, and we view Roethlisberger as cash viable across the industry and a comparable option to Russell Wilson.
