Week 7 NFL DFS: Don’t Listen to Hans and Franz, Be a Gurley Man
WEEK 7 NFL DFS SATURDAY UPDATE
Robert Woods/Chris Hogan (BUF) – These two should start and lead the Bills receiving corps in targets with both Sammy Watkins and Percy Harvin out. The prices are so low that one of these duo or Charles Clay almost mathematically has to hit value. The issue is it’s difficult to tell which one, and there’s risk in the Bills offense in general. Between Woods and Hogan, Woods is more cash viable, particularly on full PPR sites where he’s near minimum priced.
Jeremy Maclin (KC) – He passes his concussion protocol and the news is trending in the right direction for Maclin to play. He’s a strong value this week, particularly in tournaments due to his high market share of targets (but some systemic risk in this offense/the concussion).
Matt Jones (WAS) – Jones is all set to go after missing last week with a toe injury. He’s in a good spot this week, as even though he’ll split carries with Alfred Morris, rushing attempts should be high for a Washington team favored at home against a Tampa Defense allowing the third most rush attempts per game (sixth most in the red zone). Jones also has a tangible floor this week with Chris Thompson doubtful. This means Jones will take over a passing down role that has provided Thompson with six catches in back to back weeks. Jones is a solid value in cash games and an elite tournament option.
